"I worked with Judy Cangimilla while I was the Vice President of  Sales at Immucor.  Judy came to us as a consultant, but once we  realized her skill set we made her an offer to join our company as the  Manager of our Marketing Department. Judy joined us at a critical point  in our growth.  Immucor had been a manufacturer of blood bank reagents  since our formation in 1982 but we then realized we needed to take the  next step and develop Blood Bank automation.  .... we needed expertise  on board and Judy filled that role very successfully. 
Her first  major assignment was leading a team in the development of the Galileo  Instrument, the first truly successful instrument ever launched into the  blood bank market.  She was responsible for conducting the market  research, interviewing end users, creating the platform that would best  meet the needs of the blood bank and heading the development and launch  teams.  A remarkable effort that helped Immucor become the leader in the  industry, not only in reagent use, but also in blood bank  instrumentation.
